Facts About the Individual Classes of Anabolic Steroids

Many people have knowledge of anabolic steroids, and aren't surprised that they are used in the sports industry. In any event, it's worth keeping in mind that each of the varied types of steroids acts upon an individual in it's own unique fashion. Also, not all steroids are used by athletes but are used specifically for medical purposes. Steroids are fat soluble chemical compounds produced by the adrenal glands. Many of these steroids have commercial uses and, as a result, an industry has emerged to create and produce synthetic versions of the different steroids. It is this broad group of synthetic steroids that are divided into three categories which are corticosteroids, androgenic steroids and anabolic steroids.
One of the steroids that is popular with high-performance body-builders, as well as athletes, is Clenbuterol. This steroid is usually called, Clen, for short and works to burn fat. The function of CLEN is to influence the body's fat-releasing receptors to free fat cells. Once that is achieved, then those newly released fat cells can be metabolized as fuel for energy and weight loss. Veterinaries around the globe have found CLEN useful as a bronchodilator for the treatment of respiratory problems in animals, specifically horses. A lot of countries have now banned the use of CLEN for animals that will be eaten by humans, but there is still wide-spread use of CLEN in some countries for this purpose. Nonetheless, veterinarians in the United States cannot use CLEN on any animals as it is prohibited. Many athletes over the years have favored the use of CLEN.
Anabolic steroids that are injectable have an action that takes longer to be effective. One of the reasons the use of injectable anabolic steroids is preferred is due to the fact that the body accepts the steroids more readily. Furthermore, you won't find as many adverse reactions to anabolic steroids that are injected as you will with steroids you take by mouth. One must keep in mind, however, that these steroids are not injected straight into the blood stream. Instead, they are slowly injected directly into the muscle. A significant disadvantage for many people when they consider using injectable steroids is that they can be found in their bodies several months after discontinued use.
Another anabolic steroid that came into being a long time ago is Dianabol. The slang term for this type is, D Bol. By integrating testosterone with D Bol, many well-known bodybuilders have experienced enhanced results from the D Bol. This anabolic can be taken orally, as a pill, or it can be given in injections. A major drawback to taking D Bol is the problems it can cause for your liver. Another adverse effect is it will increase blood pressure. Throughout the years, the optimal dosage of D Bol has changed. The dosages taken by successful, well-known weight-lifters years ago is the dosage many people prefer to take today. Is there any dosage that is safe for someone who is using it to enhance their athletic abilities? That is not a simple question to answer.
It's obvious from the data available, and historic use, that anabolic steroids can successfully be used in several different applications. Even though we've mainly discussed just one of the types of steroids, you can still get a pretty good indication of how many uses steroids, as a whole, can have. It is not surprising that so much effort has been put into steroid research. This whole genre of steroids - corticosteroids, androgenic, and anabolic - have great commercial application. However, the medical uses for certain anabolic steroids, as well as others, are very clear and positive for serious conditions.
